VISP Relay

Add a video source

Paste your device's sending URL into the phone app or software that films.

Every publishing device on your dashboard has a sending URL. Paste it into the app that films — that app becomes the video source, and VISP relays its feed into OBS. The URL contains that device's password, so keep it private.

Using the VISP phone app or browser publisher? You don't need this page — they link the device automatically after you sign in.

Copy the URL

  1. Open the dashboard and find your device under Video sources.
  2. Choose Copy next to Add this to video source.

Paste it into your app

OBS Studio (as the sender)

  1. On the computer that films, open Settings → Stream.
  2. Set Service to Custom... and paste the URL into Server.
  3. Leave Stream Key empty and click OK, then Start Streaming.

Larix Broadcaster

  1. Go to Settings → Connections → New connection.
  2. Paste the URL into the URL field and tap Save.
  3. On mobile data, turn on adaptive bitrate so the stream stays smooth when the signal dips.

Moblin

  1. Go to Settings → Streams → Create stream.
  2. Paste the URL as the stream URL and save.

Other apps

In your app's stream settings, choose Custom or Custom RTMP as the service and paste the URL as the server. If your app doesn't accept an SRT URL, switch the dashboard to Advanced mode to reveal the RTMP fallback URL for the device.

Check it worked

The device row on the dashboard shows Live as soon as VISP receives the feed. For latency tuning and automatic fallback scenes, see Encoders and fallback.
